A team dedicated to ATEAM! Graduates prepared for postsecondary education and careers in Architecture, Transportation and logistics, Environmental and agricultural studies, Art and design, and Manufacturing. We will accomplish this through classes, curriculum, career education, and internships.
Get a Head Start
Our mission is to incorporate tactile learning with the technology available for more project-based learning of our academy students. As students progress through the academy, we want them to be prepared to excel in their chosen academy/career field in one of two ways: to be career certified in a chosen field upon graduation and/or to ensure college readiness for those wanting to go on to a higher learning institution.

“The Plattsmouth High School Career Academies help students become more involved in their future careers and prepare them for their future. The A-TEAM academy specifically prepares students for their future through hands-on learning and career visits that provide students with meaningful experiences. As the Student Leader of the A-TEAM academy, I have been able to take a plethora of classes and visit multiple businesses whose careers aligned with my interests. Due to the classes I took, I built relationships with my teachers and fellow students who shared similar career interests as me. The Career Academies helped me find where I wanted to go in my future and what I wanted to do.”

“A-Team Career Academy was the right fit for our high schooler. His interest in mechanics was fostered by hands-on learning on actual equipment, field trips to work sites, and assignments focused on technical learning by knowledgeable instructors. This tailored learning helped our son find his area of interest, diesel mechanics. The knowledge learned in the career academy helped him secure a sponsorship with a company that will pay for his diesel mechanics program at a community college. ATEAM Academy Leader
Mr. Chris Wiseman teaches physical education and has taught in Plattsmouth Community Schools since 1999. This is his 29th year of teaching and 31st year of coaching. Mr. Wiseman wants to help students achieve their goals and have fun doing it.
